The Eagles of Mali confront Zambia in the final group D game with destiny in their hands as they seek to reach the quarter finals of the 2016 CHAN finals.
Mali drew 2-2 with Uganda in the first game before narrowly edging Zimbabwe in the second game and they sit second on the standings with four points; two adrift of leaders Zambia.
With Uganda Cranes facing Zimbabwe in the other group fixture at Umuganda stadium, Rubavu and with the former still within reach of the quarter finals if Mali falters, there is no room for error for the West Africans.
Unlike Cranes who must win, a stalemate against the 2012 African champions will seal a spot for Mali.
If Mali goes on and beats the Chipolopolo, they even have a chance to finish top and set up a mouthwatering West African affair against Guinea in the quarters.
