Ndejje University F.C 2-1 Azam F.C

Ndejje University F.C, a Big league league club has defeated Buganda regional side, Azam F.C 2-1 in a build up duel played at the Ndejje University main campus ground in Luweero on Friday evening.

Lanky forward, Alfred Onek and former Jinja Municipal Council player, Anwari Ntege were in the referee’s book for the right reasons – scoring.

The visitor’s consolation came off Joel Okello’s diligence.

Ndejje University F.C is preparing for a Uganda Cup round of 32 engagement against tricky opposition, Kyambogo F.C on Sunday at the Uganda Polytechnic play ground in Kyambogo.

On the other hand, Azam F.C is set to open to the second round of the Buganda regional league with an away trip to Lugazi St Andrew play ground when they play against Mulendwe F.C in Sezibwe group on Valentine’s day.

The Buganda regional league kicks on Saturday, 13th February with action in Katonga and Sezibwe groups.
