If all goes as planned for K.B Lions Football club this year and the next three years to come, they are likely ‘sportingly’ to return to the top flight league in the season of 2019-2020.
Currently at the 4th division tier, the Kajjansi based club is struggling to make an impact at present state.
On Wednesday, 24th February 2016, K.B Lions lost 1-0 to neighbors, Kitende football club at the Kitende Magistrates’ court play ground.
Other matches played on the day witnessed Entebbe Leopards lose at their lake side Kiwogo Banga play ground to Matugga F.C 2-0.
Gayaza F.C defeated Baita Lweza Young 1-0. Namugongo played to a one all home draw to Nakawuka F.C and Mweera F.C pipped Kyaliwajara F.C 2-0.
The biggest victory of the evening belonged to the impressive Nsaagu F.C whose 4-0 win over visiting Manyangwa F.C was outstanding.
Any realistic chance of returning to the prime football league in the country necessitates skipping the different divisions (4th, 3rd and 2nd).
Country wide, the best sides in the fourth division league are promoted to the 3rd division (regional leagues) whose winner makes it to the second division (FUFA Big league).
