SCVU Vs KCCA – Namboole @ 4.30pm

KCCA make a short trip to Mandela National stadium, Namboole to face off with SC Victoria University minus striker Ceaser Okhuti.

“Besides Okhuti (foot injury), the rest of the players who featured in the 3-1 win over URA FC are available.”

In his absence, Mutebi is expected to recall on form Derrick Nsibambi who is the only KCCA striker ever to score a brace against SCVU in the 3-0 home win last season.

Meanwhile, KCCA will be seeking a fourth straight league win over the hosts after drawing the previous four prior to last season.

KCCA won the corresponding fixture 2-0 last season with goals from Joseph Ochaya and Baker Lukooya (he has since joined Bright Stars) and won the first round of this campaign won 1-0 through Owen Kasule penalty.

“It’s a difficult game against familiar foes but we are determined. They are still part of me and when I score against them, I won’t celebrate.”

The ex-Gulu United and SC Villa player promised either a goal or an assist for his club.

“And I will score against them and create chances for our forwards.”

On the other hand, SC Victoria University who are struggling financially will draw inspiration from their goalless draw against JMC Hippos on Tuesday.

They are on 16 points; just three above the relegation zone and will be fighting to escape the monster.
