URA FC Vs Police FC @ 4.30pm

Two wounded lions in URA FC and Police FC renew acquaintances on Friday afternoon at Mehta Grounds, Lugazi seeking redemption.

The Tax men lost 3-1 to KCCA on resumption of the league while the Cops were 2-1 losers at home to bogey side Lweza FC.

URA skipper Simeon Masaba said in the aftermath of the loss to the Kasasiro Boys admitted his side made mistakes but they are geared up for the police visit.

“We made mistakes in the last game but we have rectified all of them,” he said. “Police is a difficult side but we must beat them if we are to stay in title contention,” he added.

The four time league winners are eight points log leaders KCCA and head into the game full on confidence as their last loss to the 2005 champions came in the 2012/13 season.

The hosts won the corresponding fixture 2-1 thanks to goals from Robert Ssentongo and Feni Ali but the first round tie ended 1-1 with Ssentongo and Rahmat Ssenfuka scoring for their sides.
