KCCA FC have widened the lead at the top of the league thanks to a comprehensive 4-1 win away against SC Victoria University.

As promised on the eve of the match, skipper Denis Okot opened the scoring for KCCA inside eleven minutes against his former side with an easy tap in as Joseph Ochaya bagged the assist.

Derrick Nsibambi doubled the lead before half time with another goal for the Kasasiro Boys to ensure the first stanza with his side having a two goal cushion.

After the break, midfielder Jackson Nunda opened his account for the club to make it 3-0 and with seven minutes to go, on form Muzamiru Mutyaba who scored the visitors fourth for his sixth goal of the season.

Swaib Kakwaya pulled a consolation back for the hosts who have never beaten KCCA since promotion to the top tier division.

With Police FC losing to URA FC 2-0 and second placed Vipers SC not in action, Mike Mutebi’s charges are now seven points clear at the top with 35 points albeit with two more games over Vipers.
