Kenyan club Gor Mahia have been fined by Confederation of African Football (Caf).

They are to meet the bill through the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) after failing to send their planned route to Madagascar on time.

“Ideally, FKF will pay the fine and then we bill them since Caf does not deal directly with clubs,” a source told Goal.

Gor Mahia are to produce Sh100, 000 for the terrible timing just after being dumped out of Caf Champions League by CNaPS of Madagascar in the return leg.

CNaPS scored through Njiva Rakotoharimalala in the first half, making it to the next stage of the competition on a 3-1 aggregate win. The Kenyan champions had lost 2-1 in the first leg played in Nairobi.
