Simba SC 0-1 Express FC

Express FC moved to third on the Uganda Premier League table thanks to a late goal against Simba SC at Bombo on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Eagles won the game through defender Joseph Othieno own goal with nine minutes left on the clock after pressure from Tonny Odur.

Wasswa Bbosa’s side have now picked maximum points from their two second round games scoring four goals and conceding none in the process and have 29 points; six adrift of toppers KCCA albeit with a game in hand.

The army side missed a chance to move out of the relegation zone for the first time this season and remain second from bottom on 14 points.
