Vipers SC 2-0 Sadolin Paints

Vipers SC made a winning start to the second round with victory over Sadolin Paints at Buikwe to trim KCCA lead at the top to four points.

Midfielder Ibrahim Saddam Juma who missed the CAF Champions League ties against Nigeria’s Enyimba opened the scoring for the hosts four minutes to the break before prodigal son Mike Mutyaba doubled the lead after 51 minutes.

Victory saw the champions reclaim second position on the log from Police FC as they moved to 31 points; four adrift of leaders KCCA who have played two more games.

George ‘Best’ Nsimbe’s charges next fixture is away to Lweza FC at Wankulukuku on Tuesday.

The loss leaves Sadolin Paints 12th on the table on 21 points just five off the relegation zone.
