The West Nile regional team to face Uganda Cranes in the 5th national team’s match at the Green Light play ground in Arua has been named.

Onduparaka and St Mary’s Kitende net buster, Muhammed ‘Jagarson’ Shaban, of later out with a painful toe has recovered in a record time to make the starting eleven that also has 8 other players from the Arua club.

The Kitende S.S student is best remembered for his goal poaching exploits with the Uganda Cubs team in the CAF U-17 qualifiers, in the year 2014.

The West Nile is coached by Allan Kabonge and Bosco Dudu who handle Onduparaka F.C and Zombo based Paidha Black Angels respectively.

Uganda Cranes remains unbeaten from the previous four regional outings.

They won 1-0 in Mbarara against the Western region, were 2-0 winners over North East in Sorot before thumping Northern and Kitara 5-0 and 6-0 respectively in the last two outings.

The tours are intended to bring the masses closer to the national team.

Airtel Uganda bankrolls the campaign alongside FUFA’s other partner, Nile Breweries Limited.
