Betway Kobs have one more task before being crowned champions, Toyota Buffaloes is the problem and the table leaders have to find a solution.
After defeating Black Pirates 15-10 and Hima Cement Heathens falling 12-17 to Sadolin Mongers last weekend, all Kobs have to do this Saturday is win their game and they will be officially crowned.
The Legends side lead defending champions Hima Cement Heathens by eight points and Heathens tie with Ezeey Money Rhino will not matter if the Brian Odong led brigade win against Buffaloes.
Kobs’ senior player Victor Wadiya revealed last weekend that there is need for the leaders to take every game seriously.
“It is not over yet and we have to play till the end,” he said after the win over Pirates.
Heathens head coach Robert Sseguya remains confident the title race if far from over and that anything can happen in the last two games of the league.
However, it is not in Heathens’ hands and it is Kobs’ title to lose.
