Ugandan footballers plying their trade at Kazier Chiefs could leave the club after rumors of new arrivals seemed potential threats to their first team places.

According to Soccer Laduma, the ordeal came to light after Chicken Inn’s chairman, Lifa Ncube, confirmed negotiations to bring in Zimbabwean duo of Mitchell Katsvairo and Edmore Chirambadare.

Ovidy Karuru and Willard Katsande are also at risk as their lackluster season comes to an end in the Premier Soccer League.

Matovu signed a 3 year deal with Kaizer Chiefs after undergoing a period of trials with the Sowetan giants in the middle of last year while ex-Proline defender Bukenya has been at the club since 2013.
