As earlier reported, KCCA have unveiled a partnership with Britam Insurance Company that will see the company take over the club’s health insurance.

This was at a function held at City Hall, Kampala on Tuesday afternoon, attended by KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi, FUFA President Moses Magogo, Club Chairman Julius Kabugo and Britam Insurance CEO Allan Mafabi.

Musisi, the club’s chief financer under the Authority said they are honoured to partner with arguably the fastest growing insurance company in the region.

“KCCA FC are honoured to partner with the fastest growing insurance company in Uganda one with which we share values of Integrity, Transparency, Honesty and offering very best service.”

According to the details of the signed deal, Britam is giving health insurance to forty (40) staff members in a sponsorship worth Ugx. 4.224 billion for three years.

The beneficiaries include all first team players who will each have add one dependent and technical staff among others.

In his words, Mafabi said they are happy to partner with KCCA adding that it doesn’t come bigger than this in timing as the club nears winning a championship.

“As Britam, we are glad to partner with the biggest football brand in the country,” he said. “The timing couldn’t get better as the team nears winning a league championship. We are champions as well,” he added.

Mafabi also divulged that the company also sponsors Sportpesa Premier League side Mathare United who are currently second on the KPL log.

He encouraged players to train hard and always give 100% whenever on pitch.

“For the players, never leave a pitch without giving it your all. There are so many players outside there who are desperate to have the opportunity so you need to give 100%.”

FUFA Boss Magogo hailed KCCA as a model club for professionalism in Uganda and hopes this will spread to other clubs.

“In our bid to professionalize the game, we are blessed to have KCCA which is so far the model club. It’s not by accident that the club ranked highest in the club licensing at the start of the season.”

Britam Insurance joins KCCA, StarTimes and Prime Media as the club’s sponsors and takes the right sleeve of the shirt for their logo.
