Uganda Cranes’ Upcoming Matches:

International Friendly: Zimbabwe vs. Uganda – Harare (Sunday, 29th May 2016)

2017 AFCON Qualifier: Botswana vs. Uganda – Francistown (Saturday, 4th June 2016)

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is set to announce the team that will face Botswana in the 2017 AFCON Qualifiers on Wednesday.

The squad is expected to have training camp in Zimbabwe prior to the friendly on 29th May 2016 and the qualifiers match against Botswana on 4th June 2016.

Ahmed Hussein FUFA Communications Manager confirmed;

Micho will name the squad during the FUFA weekly press conference on Wednesday 18th May, 2016 at FUFA House in Mengo with a full detailed programme of the team’s preparations for the fixture due on 4th June, 2016.

 A meeting was held this morning at FUFA House in regard to the technical part of the Uganda Cranes preparations.

The Head coach will unveil the necessary details about the team preparations.

Meanwhile, Botswana head coach Peter Butler released his 27 man team that commenced training on Sunday ahead of two frienly games against Lesotho and Malawi.

Uganda Cranes has two games left against Botswana and Comoros in the current campaign and need to win both matches to have a chance of qualifying for the continental tournament.
