Uganda Cranes and Thottur football club star midfielder Tonny Mawejje has set foot in Harare, Zimbabwe on Tuesday.

Mawejje, who plies his professional trade in Iceland touched down at Harare International Airport minutes to mid-day.

He was received by the team manager Chrispus Muyinda. Clad in a black polo T-Shirt, a matching black jeans and brown sneakers, Mawejje looked relaxed though quite fatigued.

Having played a club game on Sunday where they lost 1-0 to IBV, Mawejje embarked on the journey Monday morning.

He is expected to play 45 minutes as Uganda takes on Zimbabwe in the international build up in Harare on Tuesday evening according to the coach, Milutin Sredojevic.
