Amidst reports that Bright Stars head coach, Fred Kajoba was among the local tacticians who had openly expressed interest in the advertised Sports Club Villa Jogoo job, the coach himself and the club have come out to categorically water down the hype and allegations.

Kajoba, who is also Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach told Kawowo Sports;

I am still committed to Bright Stars Football Club, it is where my heart and passion is.

Kajoba’s confirmation follows his club’s strongly worded statement on the official website asserting the commitment, strong relationship and sheer passion the coach has bonded with the players, management and the fans.

Bright Stars’ statement read in part;

Bright Stars FC would like to bring to the attention of our wonderful fans, players and partners  that our head coach is not leaving the club.

We are aware there has been interest shown by different clubs in employing Mr. Kajoba but Bright Stars FC equally need his services.

We also want to assure our fans, players and partners that Bright Stars FC is looking forward to an exciting 2016/2017 season under Mr. Kajoba and his technical team as will definitely make changes in the playing staff.

The club Management and Shareholders request all our fans, players and partners to give Kajoba and his technical team maximum support.

A couple of months, Uganda Revenue Authority Football club approached Kajoba for a possible take over at the tax collectors’ side, an offer he rejected openly.

Kajoba who has been at Bright Stars for now two seasons since joining in 2014 from army side Simba.

He has already met the club’s top management and shareholders to start preparing for next season.

Kawowo Sports has established that Kajoba is adored like a demi-god at the Champions stadium and enjoys top class relations with the club management.
