Eastern Regional Team Vs Uganda Cranes – Mbale Regional Stadium, 4:00pm

The Eastern Uganda select side head coach, Abbey Bogere ‘Capello’ Kikomeko has released an attack minded side set to face the Uganda Cranes on Saturday at the Mbale Municipal stadium.

A bulk of players feature for Jinja S.S, a side that has been promoted to the Uganda Premier League.

Goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa, enterprising winger James Otim, defender Livingstone Mulondo, crafty though pint sized midfielder Mark Bamukyaye and Julius Debbo are some of the star players on the team from Jinja S.S.

The team captain is Kataka F.C burly striker Nansuru Nandala, a son to the Eastern Region FUFA delegate Latif.

Kataka defender Frank ‘Almonia’ Wanda, who scored the winning goal against Kamuli Park on Thursday is expected to partner Mulondo in central defence against a spirited Uganda Cranes attack that has Erisa Ssekisambu, Muhammed Shaban, Edrisa Lubega as some of the strikers who traveled on the team.
