Danish based striker Natasha Shirazi is among the 26 Uganda Crested Cranes players summoned for the national team duty.

Shirazi, who plays for Borap Football Club is the only foreign based player summoned to the team which starts residential training on Wednesday at Lugogo.

The team was named by the national team head coach, Madijah Nantanda on Tuesday during a special press conference held at FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala.

“We have summoned a strong team with one professional player based in Denmark to provide the experience” Nantanda, a former Crested Cranes player noted at the press conference.

Team training starts at 4p.m on Wednesday at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

The Crested Cranes team is preparing for a high profile international friendly in Kisumu against Kenya.
