Kenya Ladies Vs Uganda Crested Cranes – Kisumu, Kenya

The Uganda National Women football side, the Crested Cranes is set to play an international match in over two years.

On Tuesday, the team’s head coach, Majidah Nantanda is expected to release the players’ names who will prepare for the up coming international friendly match against Kenya this Sunday in Kisumu.

FUFA publicity head, Ahmed Hussein confirms the development.

The Crested Cranes team set to prepare for the Kenyan game will be named by the head coach, Majidah Nantandah on Tuesday at FUFA house during a press conference

Nantanda is expected to mix a blend of the youth and the experienced with the Elite League providing the cream de-la-cream of players.

The training for the team is expected to start on Wednesday.

Uganda has not played an international women’s match in the last two years.

Kenya will use the the friendly as one of the preparatory matches for the Women AFCON championships.

Kenya eliminated Algeria following a 3-3 aggregate result (winning on the away goals rule)
