FUFA Referees Assessors’ Course
15th & 16th July 2016 – At FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
The first ever referee assessors’ course has been confirmed for mid July 2016 at the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) technical center in Njeru.
Edgar Watson, the federation technical director made the communication to the media during the a press conference at the home of football in Uganda in Mengo, Kampala.
The Referees’ assessors course is confirmed for the 15th and 16th July 2016 at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.
Only those assessors who have been in practice are legible to attend.
This course has been put in place to further help polish the department of refereeing in the country
At current situation, Uganda has over 20 match assessors and commissioners, majority of whom are former FIFA referees.
Experienced former FIFA referees like Ronnie Kalema, iron lady Catherine Adipo, George Wamala Katumba are some of the expected match commissioners and assessors.
This will be the first ever FUFA referee assessors’ course in the country aimed at improving the standards of refereeing in the country.
Besides the area of refereeing, FUFA has endeavored to provide educative courses to a number of football administrators and coaches.
