The Uganda national women football team, Crested Cranes on Thursday conducted their final training in Kampala ahead of the international friendly against Kenya slated for Sunday.

24 players trained under the coaches, Majidah Nantanda and Faridah Bulega for over two hours.

Football basics as perfect ball control, passing, stamina and endurance drills were conducted in the session also watched by the federation president, Moses Magogo.

“Training has been great with the players showing overwhelming willingness to learn and train” Nantanda, a former Crested Cranes player herself told Kawowo Sports at the end of a normal game situation played for 30 minutes.

She later named the final list of traveling players who leave for Kenya by road on Friday morning.

The match will be played on Sunday at the Moi Sports Complex, Kisumu.
