Jesse Kajuba, born and bred from Walukuba – the ‘football Mecca of Uganda’ has completed a dream move to Kenya Premier League club, Muhoroni Youth for a period of one year.

Kajuba, 20 is an exciting and dancing left footed winger who has been playing for Kampala International University in the famous University Football League.

Previously, he featured for Wama and Tasco Football Clubs, two regional teams based in Jinja district.

An excited Kajuba revels in the move that he sees as a stepping stone to his budding and promising career.

He joins former Baza Holdings, SCVU and Simba midfielder Charles Ssemanda at the club.

A cross section of Ugandans play in the elite and nation wide leagues in Kenya.

Kajuba joins the bandwagon of the ever escalating list of university football league products.

The most successful of all is Orlando Pirates’ creative midfielder Yassar Mugerwa (Nkumba University).

Others are; Eric Dhaira (IBV in Iceland), Abel Eturude (SC Villa), Muzamir Mutyaba (KCCA), Sulaiman Ochero (formerly at SC Villa), Douglas Muganga (Sand Cranes and Masavu), Julius Malingumu (formerly at KJT/Rwenshama and Vipers), Musa Esenu (Soana), Roch Somoka, Jesse Lukooki, Allan Katwe among others.
