After the 48-10 humiliation at the hands of Kenya in the first leg of the Elgon Cup last month, Odongo and company are fired up;

We are playing for our passion and pride; we owe ourselves a good performance after what happened against Kenya.

We will approach the game as it comes, when they start fast we shall adjust and start that when, and when they decide to keep it slow from the start we will take that route too.

Coach John Duncan is in charge of the Uganda Cranes side, alongside Robert Seguya and Anthony Kinene as assistants.

Luckily, the duo is back for the game and are likely to start.

Cranes played two trial games, and team captain Brian Odong had to nurse a hip injury while his assistant Michael Wokorach had to undergo therapy after complicating his spinal cord in the team’s first friendly with the Cheetahs U-21 side.

The Rugby Cranes traveled to take part in a 12-day camp in Free State.
