Female World Kickboxing Federation light weight champion, Patricia Apolot has set her eyes upon another intercontinental match in September 2016.

Apolot’s ambitions follow her triumph against Hungarian, Viktoria Lipianska in Budapest at the end of June during the World Kick Boxing Federation K-1 Intercontinental title (K1 Style).

Speaking about the Lipianska’s fight, she narrated how the opponent was tough but she endured to win away from home at all odds.

The fight was 100% challenging because it was for higher belt. I faced a well experienced fighter in Muay-Thai.

During the first two seconds, i got knee to my chest but this didn’t make me give up rather i had to bend by the rules.

It was a very good and qualifying match to me other than all fighters i have ever met.

Apolot won by an unanimous points decision after winning all the rounds.

She is now focused towards yet another battle come September 2016 against an unidentified Austrian opponent in low kick rules.

The fight will take place on 10th September in Szombathely City in Hungary. She promises her fans at home and in the diaspora to perform well;

I promised them before and i will promise them again i will keep doing my best to bring belts home.

Apolot recently landed a U.shs 50M sponsorship from Hima Cement.
