Hardly five days after the resignation of Alex Isabirye as head coach at Jinja side, Bul F.C, a new tactician has been named.

Frank ‘Video’ Anyau, formerly at Sports Club Villa Jogoo as technical director is the new coach at BUL.

Anyau who was named on Wednesday takes over the reigns at the club for the next two years.

He was announced to the public by the club chairperson, Silver Alias;

I am delighted that Anyau has agreed to become our new head coach.

He has an outstanding reputation of for his technical knowledge of the game and for creating well organized teams capable of playing football in an attractive and attacking style.

Anyau starts work immediately as side started pre-season training ahead of the G-4 tourney at Bugembe stadium slated for July 30-31, 2016.

Acknowledging reciept of the job, Anyau remarked;

I feel privileged to be coach at BUL. It is the most exciting coaching positions in the Uganda Premier League.

BUL also rang a couple of technical changes with former player, Hussein Kato deemed excess baggage in his assistant coaching role.

Bright Dhaira, a goalkeeping coach was relegated to the U-17 side and Fred Lumu replaced him.

Anyau is expected to ring a couple of changes at the club given his orthodox coaching philosophy and beliefs.

It remains to be envisaged whether the team management will poke a nose into his normal day to day running affairs at the club – a vice all his the predecessors – Kefa Kisala, Joseph Mutyaba and Alex Isabirye has fallen prey.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
