Following a three weeks’ wait, Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho has finally gotten the Visa to Scotland where he is destined to join Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.
The former Simba and Tusker star will is set to travel to Scotland on Thursday this week ahead of a two week assessment before he pens a deal in case he impresses.
He took to his Facebook page to show excitement about finally getting the Visa that ends his long wait for a possible move to Europe.
Finally have got it thanks lord for everything you’re the best God.
The player, who scored Uganda’s winning goal in the 2-1 win over Botswana last month was de-registered by Sportpesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia after Aberdeen sent an invitation for his assessment before kickoff of the 2016-17 Scottish campaign.
Aucho has been fantastic for both club and country in the previous 2-3 years and will probably sign a deal.
In case that happens, he will follow into the footsteps of David Obua (Hearts) and Victor Wanyama (Celtic), two East Africans that have played in the Scottish Premier League.
