Newly promoted Uganda Premier League club, Kirinya-Jinja S.S is on the verge of signing Kamuli Park’s pacy and exciting winger, Ibrahim Kazindula.

The well built forward, also a former student at Kampala University has been training with the school run club for the previous fortnight under the coaches, Abbey Bogere ‘Capello’ Kikomeko and Alex Isabirye.

Last season, Kazindula had an amazing season at Eastern Regional side, Kamuli Park, who later lost their bid to qualify to the Big League after losing to Mbale based Kataka 1-0 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

Kazindula is blessed with blistering pace with a lot of potential to improve on the weak aspects of his game and become the next star of Uganda’s football.

He has already done the talking with a goal to his name in the club’s pre-season 3-1 victory at Seeta on Saturday.

In a brief interview with Kawowo Sports, Kazindula who recently played for the Eastern Uganda select side in the 1-1 draw with Uganda Cranes at Mbale stadium reveals that he is ready for fresh challenges;

Like all footballers, I am ready for new challenges. I have belief in myself that I can do it.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S mouth piece, Paul ‘Brazilian’ Kulumba however remains cocky about the players who will be signed.

The club is yet to announce the new signings and those leaving. We shall be in position to tell that to the public in the coming future.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S was one of the three promoted clubs to the elite league last season alongside, Proline and Arua club, Onduparaka.

The virgin season officially kicks off on 14th August 2016 with the FUFA Super Cup between the reigning league champions, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) and Vipers, the Uganda Cup winners.

The league has been set to kick off on 19th August 2016.
