Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho will fly out to South Africa on Saturday after finally securing his travel visa.

He is set to conduct a medical at newly promoted ABSA premiership side, Baroka football club, also home to Uganda Cranes captain, Geofrey Massa.

The player’s representative based in Uganda, Geoffrey Kayemba disclosed the revelation to Kawowo Sports.

The good news is that we have recieved Aucho Khalid’s visa in his passport on Thursday

The positive development follows a period of patience since the gifted left footed player applied for his visa a week ago since returning from Scotland.

Aucho will travel to South Africa on Saturday for a medical with Baroka.

He will then fly back to Uganda on Wednesday to join Uganda Cranes camp ahead of the Kenya international friendly and the crucial AFCON 2017 qualifier against Comoros.

Aucho has 22 caps to his name under the Uganda Cranes. He also played at the U-20 and 23 sides.

He previously played at Simba Sports Club (Uganda) before turning out for Tusker and lately Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier league.
