Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic sent an early warning to players he intends to summon for the training camp in Togo and the penultimate World Cup qualifier against Ghana in Tamale.

Without mincing words, Micho who recently made history by guiding Uganda Cranes to the AFCON finals for the first time in 38 years expects to make significant changes to the squad that faced Comoros.

Uganda Cranes players wherever you are and whatever you do please do not live life under sentiments of past times you are as good as our upcoming match.

Micho was particularly concerned about active involvement of many Cranes players since the Comoros game in Kampala.

From the time we played Comoros, only three players have played with their clubs and this gives me something to think about.

The team squad is expected to be named this Wednesday at the FUFA weekly press conference in Mengo, Kampala.

Khalid Aucho’s departure to South Africa on Friday morning completed the full list of foreign based players who returned to their respective clubs.

Striker Yunus Sentamu who turns out for Illves in Finland and Russia based Moses Oloya have had some playing time since 4th September 2016.

Utility Dennis Iguma (missed the last game through suspension) had an assist in Ahed’s 1-0 victory in the Asian Champions League engagement.
