1st Legs:
- Kampala University vs Makerere University – Villa Park, Nsambya – Kampala (Wednesday, 2nd November)
- Nkumba University vs Uganda Martyrs – Nkumba University play ground, Nkumba (Thursday, 3rd November)
The draws for the semi finals of the 2016 Nile Special University Football League were conducted on Tuesday at Kati Kati Restaurant in Kampala.
On Wednesday 2nd November 2016, Kampala University host Makerere University at Villa Park in Nsambya.
The following day, Nkumba University will play host to Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi in Nkumba.
How the draws were conducted:
The teams were seeded based on their most recent performance.
Last year’s runner up (Uganda Martyrs) and last year’s 4th place (Makerere) were placed in one pot.
Former champions Kampala University and Nkumba University in the other pot.
MUBS are the defending champions.
