Express 1-1 URA
Herman Wasswa scored midway the second half to salvage a point for Express against an equally struggling URA in a 1-1 stalemate at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Congolese Born Rwandese import, Bokota Labama Kamana had given the visitors a deserved half time lead with a goal in the 25th minute.
Kamana was in the right place at the right time to tap home four yards inside the 16 yard area and also forced nice saves from goalie Ali Kiggundu before recess as the tax men dominated.
Wasswa Bbosa made a change after the break with Simon Sserunkuma replacing the ineffective Isaac Sserunkuma and its then that the Red Eagles took control of proceedings.
His combination with Ibrahim Saddam Juma troubled the visitors in the middle of the pack and in the 65th minute, Juma registered his name on the assists sheets as his through ball was put away by Wasswa.
The striker beat the offside trap and with just inches into the 18 yard area, curled the ball at the far post to send the home fans into frenzy.
The Eagles could have won the game as they put the visitors under constant pressure and it one moment, Juma struck the woodwork.
Express moves to 15 points but stay 7th on the log while URA remain two points and slots above.
The six-time champions have now gone six games minus victory since beating Vipers 1-0 in September.
