The Enduro championship finale comes this Sunday at the Fiduga Nsimbe Estate, Mpigi.
Maxime Van Pee heads to the finale as points leader and also favourite to win this year’s title just weeks after securing his second Motocross title last month.
With a commanding lead of 28points, Van Pee only needs to finish in second place to claim his maiden Enduro title.
“I am all prepared for the Sunday’s race. This time round am sure I will win this title. The bike is all prepared and I am injury free,” says Van Pee.
The MX champion lost last year’s title to Arthur Blick Jr despite topping in all two events of the three.
“I was unlucky last year. I suffered an injury that could not allow me race. But I am all fit to clear this out,” he added.
Only 12points separate Van Pee from Kenya’s Nick Dames and Barak Orland who tie in second position with 28points.
The weekend’s race will have riders take on a 12km distance for three hours. The spectator stage is excepted to provide thrilling action as rider go through water splashes, muddy surface, steep slopes among others.
Meanwhile, 4X4 and Autocross championship will also take course on the same day for the final round.
