Zambia Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda has tipped the Uganda Cranes to comfortably beat Congo Brazzaville in the aftermath of his side’s 1-0 win over the hosts at Namboole.

The Cranes host the Red Devils on Saturday in a fixture both sides are seeking maiden maximum points in the Road to Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

“The Cranes are playing well and I have full confidence that come Saturday, they are collecting three points,” he said before adding. “I can assure you on that.”

The Chipolopolo drew 1-1 twice with the Congo side in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers where both failed to make it to Gabon and Nyirenda knows their style while pointing out Cranes strengths.

I have seen Congo play away from home and they work too much on counter attacks. But looking at the team (Cranes) I have seen today, there is so much discipline at the back, good defenders and also good midfielders who are playing very good coordinated football, very good construction of the game.

Uganda are on a point after drawing with Ghana goalless on day one while Congo lost at home to Egypt.
