2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers (Group B):

  • Cameroon 1-1 Zambia
  • Nigeria 3-1 Algeria

Zambia Chipolopolo Stars earned their first point of the current 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign as the former 2012 African champions played to a one all draw with the Cameroon Indomitable Lions in a group B fixture played at the Stade Omnisport in Limbe on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors took the lead on 34 minutes when Highlands Park burly striker Collins Mbesuma finished off Reinford Kalaba’s well laid ball from the left after a quick Chisamba Lungu’s played free-kick.

The home team made amends through Vincent Aboubakar’s well converted penalty in the first minute of added time towards the end of the first half.
