An IAAF Media delegate is expected to inspect facilities to be used by teams ahead of the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala.

Media Delegate Anna Legnani ought to have started the exercise today, following earlier visits of the technical team and Marketing  and timing teams.

Legnani will inspect proposed media Hotel and other media related sites,  meet the  IT official and also  tour some of the media houses, time allowing.

She inspects the main venue, Kololo Independence Grounds tomorrow (Tuesday) from 9am-10 a.m.

Kampala will be the fourth African city in the history of the IAAF World Cross Championships to host the tournament after Guiyang of China passed the baton in 2015.

The winner of the 2017 Kampala IAAF World Cross Country Championships will walk away with $30,000 (105 million Uganda Shillings).
