Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) approved 22 referees from Uganda for the prestigious FIFA Badge for the year 2016/17.
Habiba Naigaga (Woman referee) and Dick Okello (Male Assistant referee) are the two new names.
Five names have been ignored of the 27 names FUFA had earlier forwarded for recommendation.
There are three Beach Soccer Referees; Ivan Kintu Bayige, Shafic Mugerwa and Muhammed Ssenteza.
Bayige is the only East African who will represent the region at next month’s CAF Beach Soccer Championship in Lagos, Nigeria.
