The 2012/13 Ethiopian premier league champions Dedebit football club has parted ways with their Ethiopia born American head coach Yohannis Sahle, just after 3 league matches (where they got a win, draw and loss apiece).
Sahle took over the side last season after he was sacked as head coach of the national side, Walia Stars.
Despite having recruited massively, Dedebit has struggled to find a footing in the opening matches.
Ethiopian international striker Getaneh Kebede from the South African Bidvest and also signed many west African players including the well known Ghanaian goalkeeper Clement Ashitey.
Kebede’s hat-trick in the opening day against Ethiopian Coffee in their 3-0 victory is the only joy thus far before losing  2-0 to bitter rivals St George.
During their third match, Dedebit drew goal-less with Woldia City on Sunday.
Confirmed reports from Ethiopia indicate that the club’s technical director, Asrat Haile has been appointed as the new head coach.
