The questions surrounding the date of SC Villa’s return from their Vietnam tour are finally no more after the Jogoos are back.

The 16-time league champions’ return has been a subject of debate since the beginning of the week with club requesting the league organisers to postpone their highly anticipated league fixture against giants Vipers.

The UPL Secretariat under the leadership of Bernard Bainamani as CEO refused to grant their wish insisting they had no jurisdiction to change the fixture since SC Villa’s Vietnam trip had been sanctioned by the FA so they needed to go through FUFA in case a change was to be made.

We earlier reported that the Blues would be home by Thursday and it has indeed come to pass as they touched down at Entebbe International Airport with Qatar Airways at around 2.45pm.

They are expected to head straight to camp from where they will move to Nakivubo on Saturday to face third placed Vipers in a battle of 2nd Vs 3rd in the league.

Second placed SC Villa have played seven trial games in Vietnam; won four, drew two and lost once.
