Buffaloes 22-05 Gulu

Warriors 19-17 Rams

Heathens 25-20 Mongers

Kobs 69-03 Impis

Exactly sevens days after defeating defending champions Kobs 34-20, Rhinos were outplayed and out-muscled by Pirates – testing defeat for the first time this season.

Brian Makalama’s charges were a shadow of the side that won thrice and drew once in the first 4 games of the campaign while Pirates maintained momentum to remain to of the 10-team log.

Scrum half Conrad Wanyama opened the scoring with two penalties before his opposite Kevin Makmot replied with Rhinos’ first points on the board.

Winger Timothy Kisiga, lock Ivan Wavamuno and full back Harunah Muhammad all crossed the white chalk in Pirates’ 5th win of the season.

Rhinos struggled to get moving and their handling errors did them no favors.

Forwards Scot Oluoch, former Rugby Cranes captain Mathias Ochwo and Martial Chumkam all struggled to find their mojo in the middle of the pack.

In the first game of the day at Legends, Mutoni Warriors scored and converted in the final minute of the game to defeat Makerere Rams.

Toyota Buffaloes registered their first win of the season with a 22-05 win over wobbly Gulu Elephants.

Kobs recovered from their loss to Rhinos with a comprehensive 69-03 rout of Makerere Impis at the Graveyard.

Heathens defeated Sadolin Mongers 25-20 at the House of Pain in Entebbe.
