The Golf Safari Company, in partnership with Uganda Tourism Board has organised the Entebbe Golf Safari scheduled to take place this coming Saturday on 10th Dec 2016 at the lake side par 71 Entebbe Golf Club.

Over 100 golfers are expected to grace the day long tournament whose theme is to promote Entebbe as a preferred tourism destination in Uganda.

The Entebbe Golf Safari follows a similar tournament was played in September 2016 at the 9 hole Mbarara Golf Club.

Aggrey Mwesigwa, The Golf Safari Company Director highlights the essence of the tournament;

The Theme of the Entebbe Golf Safari is to promote Entebbe as a preferred tourism destination in Uganda. Entebbe is not only the gateway for Uganda but has many tourism attractions, including good hotels, sandy beaches, historical sites, and one of the best golf courses in Uganda.

At the event, The Golf Safari Company will unveil their 2017 Calendar, which includes golf tours to Nairobi, Abu Dhabi and Thailand.

The Golf Safari Company Ltd is the pioneer golf safari company in Uganda providing a unique blend of golf tours that are designed to combine golf with the East African safari.

RwandAir has partnered with the Golf Safari Company and offered very attractive packages for people travelling from Kigali on RwandAir.

Other partners on board are; Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC), Entebbe Tourism Association (ETA), Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

In Entebbe, the Stephen Assimwe of the Uganda Toursim board will be the guest speaker.

Minister Ephraim Kamuntu is the confirmed chief guest.

The Golf Safari company aims at promoting Uganda as a golf tourism destination.

It also supports golf development by supporting the young players who are the future champions.

Recently, the company supported the Uganda Junior ladies golf team that was flagged at the Uganda Golf Club to participate in the All Africa Girls challenge trophy in Zambia.
