Less than a month after guiding Tusker to the league and Cup double, Coach Paul Nkata has signed a two year at Bandari.

Through our intelligence, we did report on how the coastal side was courting Nkata two days ago and it has come to pass.

“It’s a two year deal for him at Bandari,” a close source to Nkata told Kawowo Sports.

Nkata, formerly at SC Villa and URA joined the Brewers at the start of the 2016 season from Muhoroni Youth and became the first coach in the club’s history to win a double – the league and Go TV Shield Cup.

On the crowing day, the Kenya Premier League coach of the year hinted that he would leave the club if a better offer came through.

“As a coach, doing well may earn you a more lucrative offer elsewhere,” he told SuperSport then. “It’s not that am leaving but you never known. When I did well at Muhoroni Youth, Tusker came to me an offer too good to refute.”

Bandari, home to Nkata’s compatriots Musa Mudde, Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma and George Abege finished last season 11th on the 16 team KPL log.

The Coastal town club won the Go TV Shield Cup in 2015 and are hoping Nkata will bring trophies to the club.
