Yunus Kaddu going through the paces
Charles Ssebutinde
Mbarara based FUFA Big league Nyamityobora Football Club has completed the signing of former Uganda U-17 star striker Charles Ssebutinde.
Ssebutinde’s arrival at the club coached by Charles Ayiekho Lukula was confirmed by the team manager Sulait Makumbi on Thursday.
Yes, it is indeed true we have signed Ssebutinde and other players in this January 2017 window as we beef up our squad for the second round.
The young forward, biological son to Express F.C head coach Mathias Lule has been a free agent since he completed his A-Level education at St Edwards Bukuumi Secondary School.
He joins another center forward Elvis Kiberu (free agent), creative midfielder Yunus Kaddu (Entebbe F.C), Martin Bugembe (Nakawuka) and Shaban Jumah (Moroto FC).
These are expected to reinforce the squad that already has proven forwards as Yusuf Abato and the robust Muwawu Faizo.
The additions replaced Musa Nakibinge (off to USA), Ronald Nyanzi (Somalia), Babu Kihogo and Marco Basse.
The club also intends to loan out Emma Tahisiko and Arafat Ssentongo to regional sides as a way of getting enough playing time.
Big spending Nyamityobora is five points short of Masavu in the Rwenzori group of the Big League with the second half of the season expected to return early February 2017.
