Milutin Micho Sredojevic [Uganda] QN: After 3 good performances, what are the lessons that you will take to WC and Cameroon 2019 qualifiers MICHO: I count my self extremely proud. The landing was not soft because we didn’t have experience. I thank FUFA and the great people of Uganda. This group has been by far the most competitive. We are 13th in Africa. 240 minutes of football that we have played against Ghana, Mali, Egypt has shown we can play with any team. This level of competition demands total focus on details. We have been mentally strong and physically fit. We have technically and tactically shown that we can play against any team. With support of our supporters, this has been a perfect preparation for WC and Cameroon 2019 qualification We are in the process of building one of the best teams in the continent.

REACTIONS:
Milutin Micho Sredojevic [Uganda] We had 3 matches after 39 years and it has been the toughest group. Only one details decides a match. Mali has played in the last 3 editions. 3rd in the world in U-20. Mali is a great team. We gave everything. The pitch was like marco polo. We have done an amazing job after 39 years. Scored a goal after 39 years and got first point after 39 years. We can now play with any team in the highest level. Ugandan football has very bright future. Out of 23 players, 5 or 6 may not make it but the back-bone is there.

REACTIONS:
Alain Giresse [Mali] The field had ‘its own responsibility in our defeat’. The field was a handicap that paralysed our efforts.
