Uganda Cup (Round of 64): URA 1-0 Lweza

Emmanuel Ike Obina scored the lone goal at the Mehta stadium as Uganda Revenue Authority defeated Lweza in the Uganda Cup at the Round of 64.

Lweza played the game a man less when their goalie, Michael Kagiri was sent for an early shower for handling the ball outside the goal area to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity.

The numerical advantage was put to use Obina scored 14 minutes later but the Kajjansi based side pushed on until the final minutes.

Right back Fred Okot faced his former pay masters and so did Julius Mutyaba.

URA progresses to the next round (Round of 32 teams) as Lweza is ejected to join other top flight sides like SC Villa Jogoo, Proline and Kirinya Jinja S.S.

SC Villa Jogoo may however bounce back after lodged a complaint to the FUFA Competitions Department concerning the the team that eliminated them (Kiboga Young) that they used a player who belongs to them (SC Villa).

The department is undertaking investigations and will soon come up with a ruling.
