SC Villa coach Shafik Bisaso has been given a one match ultimatum or face the sack following an abysmal start to the second round.

The Jogoos have only collected two out of possible six points since resumption of the league and the club president, Ben Immanuel Misagga has been left in disappointment Kawowo Sports understands.

“If we don’t win against Lweza, they will be sacked,” Misagga reportedly said in the aftermath of a 1-1 draw with JMC Hippos in Kakindu on Sunday.

“I’m not happy with the way things are going. If we can pull a victory against Lweza in our next game, then I believe that Bisaso and his team can turn it around. If it’s a defeat, I would’ve had enough.”

Reliable sources indicate that in regard to that matter, Bisaso, team manager Valley Mugwanya and club Technical Chairman, Chuni have all been issued with warning letters.

Surprisingly, the two new additions to the technical team, Wasswa Bbosa and Calum Shone are not party to this ultimatum.

SC Villa ended the first half of the league a point behind leaders KCCA but failure to win against Bright Stars (0-0) and JMC Hippos (1-1), they are now two points behind having played a game more.

Analysis

From the look of things at Villa Park, it’s a matter of time before Bisaso faces the axe.

In my view, even a win against Lweza will only buy some little time for the gaffer who replaced his former boss, Deo Sserwadda who faced the axe when the team lost 4-3 away to Onduparaka.

By bringing on board, Wasswa Bbosa as associate coach, the message was clear that Bisaso’s work was never appreciated despite making the Villa Park side a force to reckon with and arguably, a fierce title contender.

It’s a matter of time before Bbosa takes over as the Head Coach at the club given he has the support of Misagga which Bisaso may be missing at the moment.
