[/media-credit] Shaban Muhammad scored for Onduparaka against URA

Onduparaka threw away a two-goal lead as they drew 2-2 with URA FC at the Green Light stadium, Arua.

In an entertaining game played on Tuesday afternoon, the Caterpillars got their first goal through team captain Muhammad Shaban who slotted past the advancing URA custodian, Alionzi Nafian.

The goal was Shaban’s 10th of the season and the second in as many games of the second half of the season after he also scored a penalty against Proline last week.

The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Charles Livingstone Mbabazi’s side and five minutes after the break, he made the first change of the game with Ceaser Okhuti being replaced by striker Fahad Toko who is on loan from SC Villa.

Kefa Kisala responded by bringing on Robert Mukongotya for Peter Lwasa in the 58th minute as the search for a leveler gained momentum.

But it was the host team that scored again when defender Akram Kakembo scored the second from a corner.

It looked as though the hosts were running away with all points but Sam Sekitto gave the visitors hope with a goal eight minutes to time.

In the first minute of added time, Mukongotya scored the equaliser to snatch a point for the Tax Collectors who now move to 6th on the log with 24 points while Onduparaka remain 4th with 26 points.
