The vacant South Africa national team coaching job has attracted big names in world football coaching family.

Belgian Hugo Broos, the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations winning coach with Cameroon in Gabon is among the numerous coaches linked to the job.

Others are former Lazio, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Fiorentina manager Roberto Mancini, Giovanni Trappatoni, Samson Siasia, Shiyata, Uganda Cranes current coach Milutin Sredejovic and former Orlando Pirates boss Muhsin Ertugral among others.

South Africa is looking for a replacement for Shakes Mashaba, who was relieved of his duties last year.

Gino Laureyssen of Ligi Star Management, the representatives of Broos has been quoted by the media in South Africa that his client is ready for a new challenge having won the AFCON already with nearly a make shift squad.

“You can never rule out anything but Broos needs a fresh challenge,” Laureyssen was quoted by Kick off Magazine.

South Africa Football Association (SAFA) Chief Executive Officer, Dennis Mumble is expected to come up with an official statement by the end of the week.
