- Proline vs. JMC Hippos – Lugogo, 4:30pm
Proline will look to continue with their impressive start to the second round of the Uganda Premier League when bottom side Jinja Municipal Council Hippos comes to town on Tuesday.
After a poor first round that kept them near the drop zone, Proline seem an improved side. The side coached by Mujib Kasule has garnered seven points out of the possible twelve in 2017.
After dispatching fourth placed Onduparaka in a manner convincing to everyone last month, Proline lost 1-0 to rejuvenated Police on 14th February, but they bounced back against URA ten days ago with a 1-0 victory and followed that victory with a moral boosting result against SC Villa on Saturday as they drew goalless.
Now with JMC-a team they beat 2-1 to secure their first win this term- presenting opposition next, Proline, seated ninth in the league with 23 points will be geared up to post their fifth victory of the campaign.
JMC aren’t just 16th in the league table, they are a team with most losses this campaign (11), a team that has conceded the most goals in the league (28) and are a team that has failed to secure a league win this season.
With only eight points collected and with 11 games left of play, it is almost certain that the Jinja side will play Big League football next season. Only a miracle can save the situation at the club.
