Former Masaka LC and Soana centre forward, Rashid ‘King’ Kyambadde has been praised by his new coach Edward Manoah of Vihiga United of the National Super League, Kenya’s second tier league.

Manoah sang Kyambadde’s praises after the striker netted in the 2-0 win over Wazito at Toyoyo camp, Nairobi as Vihiga picked their second successive league victory in as many games.

“He is an intelligent player,” said Manoah when asked about what he brings to the side. “And we are counting on him to help us to get promotion to the Kenyan Premier League,” he added.

Kyambadde, a forward whose goals were instrumental in saving Masaka LC as well as Soana from going down in 2013/14 and 2014/15 respectively joined the side at the start of the year.
