Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Denis Onyango made a remarkable return to Mamelodi Sundowns goal with a clean sheet against SuperSport United in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

The African champions thrashed SuperSport 5-0 to end a five game streak without picking maximum points.

Khama Billiat scored a brace to add on an own goal from Clayton Daniels, Themba Zwane and Mzikayise Mashaba strikes.

Onyango, reigning African Footballer of the Year – based on the continent made a couple of saves against his former side to compliment what was a perfect team performance for Pitso Mosimane side.

The ex-SC Villa, St. George and SuperSport United custodian had last kept goal for the Brazilians on February 27 when they defeated Bidvest Wits 2-0 in the league.

He has missed several games including two against KCCA in the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns are now 4th on the log with 38 points from 20 games but have played three games less than table leaders, Ajax Cape Town who have amassed 45 points.
